A Different Take on Combat
The tactician is a standalone class, meaning it isn’t based on abilities and statistics like a fighter or a wizard. That makes it a unique experience to play, especially if you’re looking for something different!
Tacticians can be natural born thinkers or well trained soldiers, but ultimately they know the best plan for how to direct their allies from a small skirmish to a full battlefield.
Perfect Plan
The key feature for the tactician is the ability to grant a number of d4 dice to players as part of their experience as a master strategist. The number of dice increases as the tactician levels, and they can give a d4 as a reaction after an attack roll or ability check. At 7th level, the die can be added to saving throws.
