Since joining forces with Roll20, we at Demiplane have embarked on an exciting journey towards a shared vision committed to connecting gamers and providing them with cutting-edge tools to bring their campaigns and stories to life, both in-person and online.
NEW SEASON, NEW NEXUS
While some things are new, a lot have stayed the same: the Demiplane team has continued to be hard at work building out Nexus platforms and Character Tools for games old and new.
Our biggest surprise of the summer came in the shape of the Cosmere RPG from Brotherwise Games. You can check out the Kickstarter for Cosmere RPG or dive right into playtest content for this highly-anticipated game on Demiplane for free! This content was the first time we have been able to point directly to shared PDF content for a tabletop roleplaying game, which we’ve included as a link on each character sheet.

When you’re done defying gravity as a Knights Radiant, you can defy gravity… in space! In time for GenCon we also released the Starfinder 2e Playtest Nexus and Character Tools. Players can read the Playtest Rulebook and make as many Skittermander Witchwarpers as your heart desires. Just mind the Gap!
DAGGERHEART v1.5
Speaking of exciting playtests, the 1.5 update for the Daggerheart playtest went live in July. This is the final update to the open playtest, so the next big update you’ll see will be for the full release of Daggerheart. However, Demiplane remains a best-in-class tool for playing the game! Check out the final playtest rules — and maybe make a character (or twelve) while you’re at it. I have a Fungril Ranger.
THE PRE-GEN CHARACTERS TO PDF EXPORT COMBO
We have also started to roll out one of our most frequently requested features: the ability to export your Demiplane characters to a PDF. So far this is limited to a few sheets including Pathfinder and Starfinder, but we’ll continue to roll this out for more games as we charge forward.
Beyond adding new games and capabilities, the Demiplane team has also been hard at work enhancing our existing games with new book releases, new character sheet features, and squishing the occasional bug.
For Pathfinder 2nd Edition, for example, we’ve added the ability to select premade characters in the character builder. Select iconic characters like Ezen, Kyra, and Lem, with additional options for the character’s starting level. Or select Cutie Killstuff from The Great Toy Heist! Players now also have the ability to use Starfinder 2nd Edition Classes, Ancestries, Backgrounds, and more in the Pathfinder Nexus and Character Tools. This is what cross compatibility between games looks like!
