The Lightless Beacon is another short standalone introductory scenario designed for novice Keepers (GMs) and players – though there’s plenty to enjoy for those with more experience. It comes with four pre-generated investigators and should take around an hour to play. Advice is also given on adapting the game for 2–6 investigators, as well as how to expand the scenario for longer sessions.

A Cinematic Actual Play

Graveyards of Arkham is a 6-episode actual play anthology series (think American Horror Story) featuring Mark Meer as Keeper (GM), and players Noura Ibrahim, Patrick Logan, Josephine McAdam, and Lucia Versprille. The stream uses Call of Cthulhu rules for character creation, conflict resolution, and advancement, and the story itself is penned with inspiration drawn from many of Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu titles.

The Graveyards of Arkham premiere can be found below. Catch new episodes on Twitch on Wednesdays and YouTube the following Sundays!

With the rise of the automobile in the 1920s, people were no longer tied to the railways as a means of getting to distant locations.

But the new road network also meant that strangers began making their way into once isolated and secluded locations. Places where they may not be welcome, and where old secrets have been hidden for generations. Who knows what lurks behind the lace curtains of the houses you drive past? What dangers lie in wait for the unwary along the out of the way highways and byways?

Dead Light & Other Dark Turns provides two unsettling encounters on the road.
