What’s an updated Dungeon Master’s Guide without a new adventure on the horizon?

In celebration of the upcoming release of the updated Dungeon Master’s Guide on November 12th, Roll20 is proud to unveil a new pre-order incentive for the D&D 2024 Core Rulebook Bundle. From now through the release of the Monster Manual (February 18, 2025), when you pre-order the D&D 2024 Core Rulebook bundle on Roll20, you will immediately unlock Heart of Stone, an introductory adventure from Imogen Gingell and Keith Baker set in the epic world of Eberron.

Update: Nov 6, 2024 – Additional Bonus Added – Fantasy Setting Starter Pack!

This means that alongside the information provided by the new Dungeon Master’s Guide on running your own campaign set in Greyhawk, you’ll also have the option of adventuring in Eberron in an adventure built to take characters from levels 1-5 as they explore the town of Quickstone and uncover the threat behind a cult spreading across the Western Frontier. This adventure has been fully updated for the revised 2024 rules for fifth edition and is a perfect opportunity to explore the new paths for storytelling that they provide.

What does Eberron offer my adventuring party?

  • Explore the vast continent of Khorvaire in the wake of a devastating war that left behind mysterious unexplored regions, a capital city of skyscrapers ripe for noire storytelling, and powerful factions still at odds and ripe with political intrigue.
  • Magic so widespread and ingrained into every day life it feels like science.
  • Dungeon-punk arcane technology like lightning rail trains and airships powered by elementals.
  • New player character options like:
    • The Artificer class: Artificers combine magic and science to create magical items, constructs, and achieve incredible feats!
    • Sentient constructs called Warforged who were created to fight in the war and are now finding their place in a war-torn world.
    • Changelings who can shift form to appear as any other humanoid to hide their true nature. Skilled at subterfuge and viewed by some as monsters, they’ve been hunted to the fringes of society.
    • Dragonmarked Houses: Family run corporations whose members boast arcane infused tattoos that offer magical effects.

What if I already pre-ordered?

How can I start exploring the new 2024 rules?

The D&D Player’s Handbook (2024) is a great place to start. It’s already available on Roll20, along with the New D&D 5e (2024) Character Sheet & Builder. If you decide you want to upgrade to the bundle to get the pre-order incentive of the Heart of Stone adventure, you can always do so at any time between now and the release of the Monster Manual in February 2025.

Excited to get D&D’s new rules on the tabletop? What campaign will your adventuring party tackle first?
