It’s been difficult to watch some of our favorite conventions postponed or canceled over the last weeks. These events are a way to connect with our community, learn about new games, get to know our favorite designers and creators, and laugh. Many of them have been hard at work trying to figure out how to keep the spirit of convention gaming alive while we all remain physically apart. For some of them, that means bringing their event online.
We’ve compiled a list of some really awesome conventions coming to an internet near you to help ease the burden of being tucked away inside and to provide some new ways that you can stay connected with your friends (and maybe make new friends!) outside of your own games.
So grab your favorite snack, something good to drink, and a spot on the couch and make plans with friends to attend some of these online cons! If we missed any, give them a shout in the comments!
- Virtual GaryCon | March 26 - 29 | Our friends at GaryCon were planning a virtual con before it was… necessary? They have been working tirelessly to move even more of the event online once it became clear that a physical event couldn’t take place. GaryCon is in it’s twelfth year celebrating the life and work of Gary Gygax, the Father of Role Play Games. Click here for more details
