No More Modals. We’ve heard you loud and clear! As of today, you don’t need to go into modals for any basic sheet editing. PC Inline Editing is live for D&D 2024!

Check out our launch video, and try it for yourself in VTT or Roll20 Characters!

Why This Matters

Inline editing cuts straight to the point. Click (or tab to) a field, type, and move on. Tweaking stats, updating actions, and customizing gear all happens right in the sheet without stopping play. Even better, inline editing preserves automation! For example, if you set your AC by manually typing it in, equipping a shield will still bump your AC up by 2, a major improvement over the D&D 2014 sheet! You can always go into AC’s settings cog to see everything that’s generating the final value.

What’s Included

Inline editing now covers every core field you rely on during play:

  • Ability scores
  • Hit Dice, Armor Class, Speed
  • Skills, Defenses, Conditions
  • Actions and Spells
  • Equipment and Items
  • Character features

If it’s something you regularly touch at the table, you can edit it right where it lives. Give Inline Editing a try and let us know what you think. Your feedback shapes where we go next!
