We are pleased to announce the next phase of the Roll20 x Demiplane Integration!

Daggerheart Then and Now

Since Daggerheart’s release in May 2025, Demiplane and Roll20 have celebrated several notable milestones with the community.

In September, we released two more upgrades: a range scale and the bubble/bar, providing a more immersive and interactive experience. You can read all about that update, as well as some amazing community additions (macros, plus a clever way to track fear), on the Roll20 Blog here.

In May, we celebrated the release of Daggerheart on Demiplane and DriveThruRPG, where it held the #1 and #2 bestsellers spots on DriveThruRPG for two straight months (Core Rule Set PDF & NEXUS, respectively).

By August, we celebrated with the community as you created over 500,000 new Daggerheart characters in the NEXUS. We followed that up by adding support for Adversary Sheets (now NPC Sheets), and we put the Demiplane Compendium directly into Roll20 for seamless access.

Since then, we have been working on even more improvements for Daggerheart. We know many of your friends want to try it out using free titles like Void Playtest and the Quickstart Adventure, so we are excited to offer you more.

Your adventures and feedback have been instrumental in helping us shape the platform. Today, we are thrilled to give something back that we have teased for quite some time.

Play Daggerheart for Free

We are thrilled to announce a free Quickstart Adventure Package, a feature-packed Game Addon!

This new package highlights the strengths of both Platforms:

This free all-in-one package includes a new way to play for free:

  • A ready-to-play VTT Adventure with exclusive maps from Map Doctor (including Dynamic Lighting & Foreground Layers), handouts, adversaries, and characters
  • An Art Pack containing 50+ tokens, portraits, and landscapes

The Demiplane and Roll20 teams look forward to giving you more content of this kind for other game lines in the future. Please give us your feedback so we can help us improve it.
