Below, you can learn more about each of these creators and their contributions to this map pack.
Hero Tokens – Vol 1 – William Lyday

What was the inspiration for this token pack?
I’m a decent artist, but my style is far from the gorgeous art you traditionally find in the official Wizards books. I’m very cartoony, a little silly, and I was already drawing portraits of all my players characters. During lockdown, I had just started teaching myself digital art and it seemed like tokens were a market I could tap into with my style.
What makes Eberron stand out from other settings for you?
I love the Pulp adventure vibe, and how malleable the setting is. A few years ago I ran a spaghetti western style Eberron game, complete with an animated movie trailer to hype my players up.
Hero Tokens 3 – Silky Noire

What was the inspiration for this token pack?
I just love drawing mechanical creatures, especially rough brass ones, cluttering and creaking. A mix of magic and technology really adds to the fantasy aesthetic.
What inspired you to start creating content on Roll20?
I started off as a D&D player in 2018, and soon began GM-ing myself. My favorite part was making assets for our game sessions. Being a big fan of digital art and tabletop games, I guess, my fate was decided from the start.
What do you find thrilling about storytelling in Eberron?
Eberron has a very dark history, yet it is all about progress, overcoming the past, and building a future. I like the feel of the world, where heroes do not just protect it, but face both good and bad, making change. Just like the setting, its inhabitants are often not so simple and one-sided, and that makes them so much more interesting.

If people like this contribution from you, what’s another product they might want to check out from your offerings?
I would say Constructs, Golems and Animatrons. Then you’ll have a full construct collection and a full set of Modrons for your VTT!
