Roll20 Tabletop
Jumpgate Beta is now open to all Roll20 users
Load time of pages with many tokens has been improved by ~30%
Character Sheets open up in an appropriate size on smaller laptop screens
One way lighting lines have their direction indicators again
Tokens now properly snap to grid
Dragging of tokens with status markers from the Journal to the VTT now works as intended
Rotated text objects no longer appear stretched/illegible when copying from Legacy to Jumpgate
Multiselecting portals no longer throws errors, leaves behind old selection boxes, or fails to multiselect
Applying defaults to tokens is now functioning as intended: updating token settings of default token now applies new values to all linked tokens
Dragging and dropping a monster/token from the D&D 5e Compendium onto the map will now keep the preset token settings and the token size.
Loading speed for switching pages has improved by ~5%
Voice & Video falls back to a default microphone for users whose device configurations are invalid
Removed a false error message that appeared in certain circumstances when Voice & Video was functioning as expected
Resolved a common cause of images (maps and tokens) failing to load
Compendium Search
Exact search results show up closer to the top. For example, when you search for “longsword,” you’ll see the longsword items above other named longswords.
Removed spaces from the search terms. Now you can add as many spaces as you want, and the results won’t be affected.
Discord Activity
Roll20 Discord Activity is now live for all users globally! With this Discord Activity, you can now press a button and with a few clicks, join your friends in a fully functional Roll20Tabletop with Discord!
Roll20 Characters
Spells dragged and dropped from the D&D 5e Compendium now have all the correct spell components
Removed the ability of some players to see the GM rolls and whispers while in Roll20 Characters. Now your secrets can stay secret.

Fixed combat rolls not fumbling correctly.
Added the “Malfunction” message to combat rolls where the result meets or exceeds a malfunction.
Fixed Weapons erroneously assigning a default “malfunction” value of 96
