Roll20

Thanks for joining us for Roll20Con 2021, a weekend of raising money for Code 2040, joining games with StartPlaying, and hosting awesome giveaways! Videos of convention panels (including games featuring tabletop veterans like Aabria Iyengar, Brennan Lee Mulligan, Jasmine Bhullar, Amir Hamzah, and Gabe Hicks) will be available on our YouTube!

We also talked about some of the upcoming Compendiums, Adventures, and other converted content coming to Roll20. We’ve got products lined up from veteran Roll20 publishers as well as some partners brand new to the platform. Let’s dive in!

Wizards of the Coast

Wizards of the Coast have two upcoming releases now on preorder here on Roll20: Strixhaven, Curriculum of Chaos, and Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep.

Based on the recent Magic: The Gathering expansion, Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos casts its players as students at a school for magic-users. We streamed a first look at the module on Friday, when DM Aabria Iyengar ran a talented group of gamers through an early preview of the book–featuring Roll20 Mobile.

Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep is the ultimate guide to the world of Exandria. It contains seven chapters of thrilling adventure for players levels 3-12, new creatures and magic items, and much, much more.

Paizo

Pathfinder’s largest city sourcebook to date is coming to Roll20. Lost Omens: Absalom, City of Lost Omens is positively packed with lore on the locations, denizens, and would-be adventures waiting in Pathfinder’s most famous city.

Lost Omens: Monsters of Myth is also coming to Roll20, and bringing with it 20 of the most infamous and terrifying monsters from Lost Omens lore.

We also confirmed that Kingmaker, the long-anticipated anniversary release of Pathfinder’s beloved Adventure Path, is expected to come to the platform in 2022.

And finally, shifting our sights upwards to the sky, Starfinder: Galactic Magic is coming to Roll20. It’s packed with magic-infused options for every Starfinder class, as well as the new precog class.

Chaosium

The upcoming Keeper Screen Pack brings two ready-to-play Call of Cthulhu scenarios to Roll20, and with an expected release here in November 2021, the terror is just around the corner.

Doors to Darkness, meanwhile, is expected to emerge in December. It includes 5 beginner scenarios, perfect for new investigators looking to explore the Cthulhu mythos for the first time.

Last up, we’ve got a very unique release on the horizon: Does Love Forgive? is a two-pack of scenarios made for 1 keeper and 1 player, bringing an interesting duet dynamic to Call of Cthulhu.

Coyote & Crow

Hot off a smashing successful Kickstarter, Coyote & Crow is coming to your virtual tabletop! This sci-fi/fantasy TTRPG is set in a First Nations alternative future where colonization never happened. Expect it on Roll20 sometime in 2022.

Alligator Alley Entertainment

It’s been about a year since Esper Genesis released on Roll20, and the folks at Alligator Alley Entertainment have an all-new Adventure Series coming that’s compatible both with it and with 5E: Expedition from the Mysterious Peaks! The Kickstarter’s live now.

Hunters Entertainment

The upcoming Exquisite Crime is a roleplaying game unlike any others; players play as Paranormal Detectives taking turns transcribing their visions to another player, who draws what they see. The Kickstarter is live now, and we expect a Roll20 version sometime in 2022.

R. Talsorian

The dark future is now: Cyberpunk RED is coming to Roll20. The latest version of the classic game that defined a genre is slated to jack in to the VTT before the end of the year.

Andrews McMeel Publishing

Additionally, Flames of Freedom, an American gothic horror RPG powered by the Zweihander game engine, will land on the platform during 2021. A number of Roll20 staffers were involved in the book’s development, and we can’t wait to see it take shape.

Rollacrit

Rollacrit is bringing Heroes of Barcadia, a 2-6 player tile-based, dungeon-crawling tabletop party game, to Roll20. The Kickstarter raised over $1.25 million, and it’s expected on Roll20 in Q1 of 2022.
