Roll20Con 2025 was last weekend, and we’re still energized after such an incredible weekend of games, community, and giving. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate tabletop roleplaying, whether you tuned in to panels, played with friends, or helped us support a good cause. Here’s a look back at some highlights from the celebration!
Supporting Two Great Causes

One of our favorite parts of Roll20Con is the ability to support organizations that give back to our community, and this year was no exception. Thanks to your generosity and the many fundraising efforts conducted over the weekend, we’ll be donating over $20,000 to The Trevor Project and Outright International this year! Your support makes a huge difference, and on behalf of Roll20 and StartPlaying, we couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks also to all of the incredible partners who included their titles in our DrivethruRPG Charity Bundle!
Panel Highlights
Our celebration was also filled with engaging discussions and announcements, thanks to our impressive panel lineup. You can catch replays of some of our events now if you missed them.
Building Better D&D Games
Marketing Manager Anne Richmond sat down with top DMsGuild creators Imogen Gingell, Tessa Presents Maps, and Jayson Payne to talk about their publishing journeys, offer advice for new creators, and spotlight how community-created content empowers players and DMs. Plus, we launched a Creator Favorites Bundle where you can save BIG on these talented authors’ best work!
We also announced a Baldur’s Gate Game Jam, challenging you to create a themed, 25-page or less D&D supplement. Submissions are open from October 1-November 2, 2025, so you still have time to join!
A New Era of Roll20 VTT
2025 was a huge year for Roll20! 🚀 We rolled out the Foreground Layer, D&D Loot Manager, and Demiplane Integration —along with quality-of-life upgrades, a D&D Sheet glow-up and more.
In this panel, Community Manager Brooke Whitney chatted with Nicole Brooks (Sheet Developer), Jeff Lamb (Software Development Director), and Peter Romenesko (Demiplane Founder in Residence) about this year’s biggest releases. Plus, we gave exclusive SNEAK PEEKS at some of the most-requested features yet (MAP PINS! Demiplane campaigns!). Catch the replay!
Fun for the Roll20 Team
Let’s be honest… the Roll20 team doesn’t need much of an excuse to gather around a virtual table. In the week leading up to Roll20Con, we held several staff games featuring a variety of systems and stories. Here are some of the highlights submitted by team members.

TK ran the Alien RPG, leading their party on a cinematic horror/survival adventure where every roll meant the difference between life and death.
Mik ran a quick but classic DMsGuild dungeon crawl called A Most Potent Brew, where adventurers discovered just how dangerous a wizard’s old brewery can be.
This game is perfect for introducing new players to Dungeons and Dragons!

Anne ran A Copper for a Song (Dragon Delves) – a level 12 adventure full of music, mystery, and dragons, where the party aimed to save the land from famine while following clues, exploring a dragon’s lair, and battling for the future of Promise. The Roll20 conversion of Dravon Delves and maps from Heoric Maps helped bring the story to life… and Anne even recorded a song to supplement the adventure!
Eve dove into Dungeon Crawl Classics, specifically The Portal Under the Stairs, a low-level adventure where a ragtag group of peasants brave the tomb of an ancient war wizard. Peasants were lost, glory was gained, and chaos reigned… exactly what they expected from an old-school dungeon crawl.

Thanks Again!
Every year, this event reminds us of why we love being a part of this community and working hard to ensure others who love it can access tools and content to fuel their adventures. Your creativity, passion, and generosity are unmatched. Until next year!
