Roll20 is developing a brand new D&D Character Sheet & Builder! It will fully support the current D&D edition and the 2024 content.
We’re making incredible progress on Roll20’s brand new character sheet and builder. We’re thrilled to announce that you won’t have to wait until the D&D 2024 launch in September to get your hands on it – our Alpha period begins June 18!
Alpha Period
Starting June 18, the D&D 5E character sheet Alpha will be available to all Roll20 users, Get ready to dive into this early preview!
We’ll feature pre-gen characters that you can use to jump in right away using the D&D 2014 rules. In September, the new character sheet will be fully compatible with both 2014 and 2024 core rulebooks.
We’re eager to hear your initial feedback. You’ll be able to direct any bugs or requests to our forums during the Alpha. As a thank you for participating, you’ll get a badge on your Roll20 account!
Beta Period
We know you’re looking forward to the new D&D character builder (we certainly are). We’re targeting a late July Beta release that includes updates to the character sheet and the new character builder.
The Beta will also feature drag & drop functionality and a new NPC sheet. The Beta period will run until the launch of the D&D 2024 Player’s Handbook on September 17, at which time we’ll be releasing full support for both D&D 2014 and 2024 rules. We’ll be collecting your feedback and releasing updates along the way.
