You might have noticed a lot of new features coming out at Roll20 in the last year. We’ve kicked off the UI redesign for the VTT, we’re rebuilding the rendering engine through the Jumpgate project, we launched Roll20 Characters, our new character sheets have dramatically improved, DriveThru has a new look and feel, we’ve introduced Free Basic Rules for major systems, and we’re updating marketplace products to take advantage of new features. All of these projects have one thing in common: without your feedback, none of it would be possible.
We are focused on solving problems and your feedback allows us to focus in on what really matters. When we hear what is difficult or time-consuming for you when you are finding a group, prepping for a session, or playing the game we can get to work finding the best solution for you and everyone else that uses our products. In that way, your voice helps us make our product better, not just for you, but for everyone else.
We Need Your Input
We’re thinking of adding a new project to this year’s list but before we get started, we need your help to better understand what we might do to improve it.
The Compendium is important to Roll20 and serves millions of people in looking up rules, inspiring new characters, and getting us to play new games, but something tells us it could be better. In order to imagine a better future for the compendium, we need your feedback.
Over the next couple weeks, we’re going to host video interviews with small groups of users. We will be asking questions about how you use the compendium, what is difficult or time-consuming about it today, and how you might like to see it change in the future.
Book time on my calendar and find a time that works best for you. The initial round of interviews is open until the end of February.
Thank you for your help both in last year’s projects and those that we’re researching and planning for this year! Your feedback really does help us improve.
